This is the best pan dulce in Oakland. I've been buying my bread from here for yrs & I am always satisfied with the quality. Give it a try you won't regret it, it's delicious!

Penas Bakery's pan dulce was a delightful treat, amongst several of my favorite items in the well-packaged box is the bolillo con Queso y jalapeño paired well with its cheesiness and spicy hits and the Guava Empanda offered a gently sweet, comforting, and airy pastry infused with tons of flavor. The pan's soft and fluffy texture makes it a perfect companion for my cup of coffee, bringing a small moment of warmth and joy to my morning. Gracias, Penas Bakery 2
