I first discovered this restaurant thanks to a friend's recommendation, and I'm so glad I did! The Phở Bò here is seriously the most authentic Northern Phở I’ve had in any restaurant around Vancouver. I’d have to say it’s the best when it comes to that delicious Northern flavour! It would be awesome if they offered some "quẩy" to enjoy alongside the Phở as well!

Got the 2 for 1 pho bo. I have pho bowls at home for when I order, and the portion only fills the bowl half way compared to ordering from places like Viet Lotus. I'm not sure if this is why they offer 2 for 1? Luckily I had just ordered for myself so I ate both, but for 18$ at that size it is not enough, and way less than what other restaurants give, it's not enough for a meal.

One of the best Northern Vietnamese food I've had in Vancouver. The pho broth was different but cleaner tasting and the wings were the absolute bomb! The house made tamarind dips were additive. They packaged everything so well that the wings remain hot and crispy at arrival.

The bogo isn't worth it, its so incredibly small and felt disappointing. That being said I love this place and the flavour. Its become a tie for 1st place with my favorite pho restaurant I've being going to for years. I order regularily here, just wouldn't order the bogo again for two people.

The beef pho (pho bo) was much too sweet for Northern tastes. The chicken pho (pho ga) was seasoned and balanced as expected of a northern region pho ga and a much better choice compared to the beef pho. As a prior customer of their original Wooden Fish establishment, I had much higher expectations, especially knowing that the proprietors were alumni of Linh Cafe. The Spring Rolls were crispy and packaged well, but lacked balance. The rolls were filled with a dry mince meat mixture and did not offer the textural crunches and nuances of wood ear mushrooms and other hearty vegetables usually found.
