My fav place for BBQ. Best mac and cheese in Anderson.

Didn't receive my cornbread 😕 everything was mixed together in 1 container my brisket was drowning in BBQ sauce. This is a family type meal for almost 50$ and these 2 tiny sides are toddlersized at best.I don't put BBQ sauce on brisket 🙄 I would order again, the Any 4 Meats Combo Platter is good but no sauce, it's all I could taste.

How am I now just trying The Pitt BBQ? I didnt know BBQ this good existed in Anderson. I ordered the Rib Tips Dinner2 sides and added an order of fries. The description says 2 sides but what you get is actually one. The fries were good but when comb with the meal... too much food!i got the macand cheese as my side and it was very good. Some of the best I've had from a restaurant. The container had a heaping mound of meat, smothered in sauce. That first bite! Oh my goodness. So good. So, so good. Soft, meaty, smoky... everything you want from great BBQ! I'm bursting and in a food coma but eyeballing the last few hunks of meat and thinking to myself that I could eat another order. The Pitt is hands down the best BBQ in Anderson, Madison county, and probably the State. So full... and happy. Lol

The food was so good! We got the Any 4 Meats Combo Platter with each of the 4 meats, with Greens & baked beans, Potato Salad, Sweet Potato Pie, & Peach Cobbler. We split between two of us and it was definitely more than enough for one meal! Never had a bad meal from them!

if you love sauce with meat, I highly recommend this place! Howeve, if you want the flavor of the meat to shine, this isn't the place. Their mac n cheese and Spicy Mac were good. Their greens were too sweet for me, but still pretty tasty. The Any 4 Meats Combo Platter was a good price for the quantity, but the flavor of the meat wasn't there. Definitely a joint for folks who love the sweet & overly saucey Midwest bbq!
