I have wanted to try a Detroit Meaty Deluxe (or any detracting style pizza) for a while, I'm glad I did. This was excellent.
What I liked:
- The sauce on top idea, I loved the pizza sauce they used. Great tangy taste, definitely deserved the top spot.
- Deep dish crust was cooked perfectly, just a little crunch on the edges and not raw in the middle like some places make with deep dish pizza.
- Rectangular shape made sure the pizza slices were "just right" sized vs. "I like to overeat" sized that many round pies seem to deliver. The pieces fit in my palm, but because it's deep dish, it's enough to satisfy.
What I disliked:
- It looked small at first; but it's filling because it's thick. That sounded way more inappropriate than I meant.
- Could use more pepperoni; it's a meaty deluxe and I expected more coverage.
- Slices were unevenly cut; middle pieces were not as large as the ends. If I was serving there'd be some unhappy guests.
Overall I'd say it could easily feed 3, possibly 4 people (if small kids were eating), but for hungry adults my expectation would be to feed two with the pie.

pizza hut used to be so good, but now I'm disappointed any time I get them. they're more expensive than domino's but the quality isn't even as good. cheese was hard before it had even cooled. the marinara sauce was so sweet it tasted like ketchup. the butter sauce had a distinctly slimy consistency that made my skin crawl. they were out of Bleu cheese, but I do not imagine it would have been much better. they were however open late on a Sunday, so they made me the pizza when no one else could have. credit where it's due.

I've ordered many times from the Hut and always enjoy it. My most recent purchase, however was disappointing. I got what I ordered and it came quickly but the quality was just terrible. $65 for two pizzas and two drinks. The pizzas looked like something that would have come from a different restaurant altogether. The stuffed crust cheese pizza seems so much smaller than normal, even though they only come in a large size. The crust was thinner than 1/8" and one child was able to eat an entire pizza by themselves. Something doesnt add up.If I were to believe that all of their pizzas would be like this from now on, I would never order from Pizza Hut again.

all of the pizzas were almost black on top and only toppings in the middles with more than 2 to 3 inches of top crust and large burnt bubbles in crusts

the Traditional Wings were salty as all get out. I hate that I paid 13.00 abd had to toss them out. Pixar was good, no issues there.
