Spectacular godsend for reluctant vegans. Midnight Marauder Steak & Cheese Egg Roll is just irresistibly decadent, could do with a smidge less oil but still... Trolley fries also so rich and tasteful, and Chick'n Fingers are relentlessly jumping in your mouth. Have to stop writing or I will order again, soz

The *NEW* Salt & Pepper Shrimp is literally ONLY FOUR SHRIMP! That does not match the price point. That was a disappointment. Six would have made more sense but four was just insulting. They were okay as far as taste goes. This was the first time I tried the Thai Coconut Curry Soup and that was pretty decent. Beware of spicy add-ins. I enjoyed it overall. The Chick'n Fingers always hit! Delicious!

I haven't ordered from Pow Pow on H Street NE in maybe a year because of the problem I encountered today--they have stopped caring about the quality of their dishes. Rice was undercooked, broccoli was raw. I was trying to give them another chance, but that was a mistake. So many of the vegan restaurants like Pow Pow and Dodah's are losing quality. That means fewer customers. It's a vicious cycle. I wouldn't mind smaller portions if they need to save money, but don't sacrifice quality.

Sunrise Breakfast looks delicious, but it's awful. I have eaten at the original Bubbies and Pow Pow Franklin many times, expecting quality delicious vegan food from the expensive popup brunch so this was a real disappointment. Burnt eggs cooked in dirty grease, biscuits were rock hard and dipped in baking soda, bacon arrived so floppy I needed to cook it myself, and it was all ice cold and stale. I only ate the hash brown and bacon. The portion was so tiny that I would be hungry even if I did eat it all.

The Trolley Fries (gluten free) were perfect: crisp but chewy, sauced with spice and creamy cashew, topped with fresh scallions. The Yoga Dragon bowl was an ideal mix of fresh veggies, crunchy peanuts, and savory gluten free fried chick'n. The *NEW* Crispy Lemon Parm Brussels (gluten free) were not crispy (upon delivery); I didn't taste lemon or parm until I got to the bottom of the box.
