So worth the cost!! The Slab of Beef Ribs (5) are so huge and full of beef! The Full Rack of Pork Ribs (10) are perfectly smoked and tender with just the right amount of pull when you tear in to them. Spicy Mac n Cheese is always delicious I have never had a different flavor from both locations. Green Beans fresh and full of garlic never have had a soggy order from them. The prices can seem a bit high but where else can you find such flavorful huge portions.

My wife and I usually go for the 1/2 lb Tri-Tip Dinner and the kids love the Salty' Special hoagies. Excellent quality of beef and service is always quick regardless of how busy they get.
Sometimes the meat can be on the dry side but that's why we always get extra sauce on the side!
You can't go wrong with Salty's!

I have lived here for 4 years and salty's makes some of the best bbq I have ever had especially their brisket. I absolutely love it. I normally get extra brisket because it's so good and it's 3 meals for me. I eat it 2 to 3 times a week. It's always fresh and made with car. Thank you guys for the great food!!

Salty's food is the best barbecue in Bakersfield. Tri tip smoky and tender, bbq sauce tops it off perfectly. Side are perfect compliments--tonight we had the rice pilaf (buttery) and coleslaw (fresh, crunchy, lite sauce/seasoning).

I love their smoke flavor on the meats. I have had the brisket, hot links and pork and they have always been moist with great flavors. The slaw, mac n cheese and tatter salad are all super yummy as well.
My only critique is that I wished they had a mustard vinegar sauce in addition to their sweet red bbq sauce. But that is just a preference on my part
Overall worthy of five stars.
