Wow.
This is the best sushi I've had in the area (Walnut Creek, Concord, Pleasant Hill, & Lafayette). I moved to CoCo county from Alameda County and have been struggling for a year trying to find great quality sushi.
This sushi (I ordered three rolls) was delicious. The sushi rice was perfectly cooked/seasoned AND had the right ratio to fish. There was no attempt to cut costs by creating giant, fat rolls that are thick with rice.
The fish was fresh, tasted delicious, and had no smell - the container only smelled like ginger. I loved it all.
Will definitely come here again.

I just discovered Shin Sushi! Definitely a hidden gem for sushi lovers. I was impressed with the freshness of the fish across all the rolls I tried. It's rare to find such exceptional quality sushi, paired with such affordable prices. This spot offers incredible value and fantastic flavors – highly recommend checking it out! Definitely my new go to spot.

Set C lunch & tempura rolls. The food arrived warm & fresh. The Katsu chicken was the best that I've ever had, everything down to the steamed vegetables tasted so good & was cooked perfectly. The portion size was fillng also. I already started eating , no time for pictures.

Hidden gem, sushi is some of the best around Pleasant Hill. Fish is very fresh. Small restaurant, it gives off college town/sports bar vibes because of the young staff and the big screen TV. Easy parking, check the place out, you won't be sorry.
