The SOUTHERN CHICKEN TENDERS* were amazing! It's been awhile since I've had such great fried chicken, and the Showmar's sauce pairs well with them. I really liked the fries, fruit, and hush puppy cylinders. The Baklava tasted great, but not for $3.50 for a single small triangle of it. I'd expect a larger piece or several small pieces for that price.

The last couple of times ive ordered the fillet of flounder sandwich, the pieces of fish were much smaller. This is the 3rd time asking for extra tarter sauce on the sandwich and ordered additional tarter sauce on the side. I really enjoy the tarter sauce. I did not get the extra the sideone I paid for and the tartar ssauce was skimpy on the sandwich. As usual the fries are nice and plump. fried perfectly. This is my turn to when I want to order door dash. I might try one more time and hopefully everything is finally right.

You can literally never go wrong with showmars. My favorites are the mini meals because I love to sample. The cheese burger and tenders are always a good choice but if you're into it try the gyro or the fish , those are great as well. Delivery can arrive just warm sometimes from any location (that's just delivery culture lol) but with showmars I can preheat the broiler and toss it around a few times in the over and it's as crispy and fresh as it was at the restaurant.

Normally Showmars is the top of the list in quality and flavor of its food. But not tonight. I got the GYRO PITA, CRISPY CHICKEN TENDERS, Fresh Fruit for the sides and a large Mug root beer. Everything was good except for the CRISPY CHICKEN TENDERS. They were not just overcooked and discolored, but they had been under the heat lamp for way too long making them dry, tough and inedible. I'll definitely be going to Showmars again but next time I doubt I'll order the CRISPY CHICKEN TENDERS. Two stars out of five.
