• 7/18/23The Harbor -style fried flounder was so delicious I couldn't believe it. I got 3 generous sized large pieces of fish that were very very fresh! It was the best fried flounder I've ever had & im a world traveler.

• 8/22/24Quality has remained poor since the pandemic. We used to eat here twice a month, then once a month during the pandemic to support the diner. Our order now in summer 2024 was bordering inedible. The price of the flat iron Local Flat Iron Steak & Eggs is up by $10 and the flat iron steak was (and has been the last 3 times) nearly all fat and gristle. Not just the edges, but throughout the entire steak! The eggs were astonishing tiny and undercooked with "medium" yokes crushed and leaking all over, the potatoes were old and soaked in grease, and the toast was burned. There was NO gravy with the Country-Fried Steak & Eggs and the same thing with the eggs, potatoes and toast. Sadly, we give up and won't be ordering from here again.

• 2/14/23Everything was mouthwateringly delicious. My burger perfectly cooked pink with fresh watercress. A side of delicious roasted beets & sweet potatoes. & lastly the brownie decadence with separately delivered individual packets of hot fudge, walnuts, ice cream (still cold).even separate cherries. Outstanding! What a Valentines treat to myself!

• 11/14/22There is nothing better for a cool autumn evening than the calf's liver and onions. I know not everyone likes liver, but if you do, do not miss this! My favorite sides of garlic spinach, corn, and mashed potatoes make the perfect classic meal. Completely satisfying, every time! (Happy sigh.). Everything else is good too, but that entree is absolutely fantastic.

• 10/10/21I love love love the Silver Diner's breakfast so much that I forget about their dinners! I'm one of the weirdos who loves liver, and their liver and onions dinner is the best! Full of flavor, hearty (no such thing as a tiny serving unless you order that on purpose). Delicious!! I'm always so torn between the liver, which is so hard to find in restaurants, and the excellent meatloaf, which is the second best I've ever had. The pot pie is amazing too. Honestly, I've never had a meal at SD that wasn't delicious and totally satisfying. It's my top go-to for any meal, and happily, my kids love it too.
