I have ordered here quite often since I've been visiting and every single time, the food is impeccable. The catfish filets? Perfection. The yams? Perfection. The cabbage? Absolute perfection. We've, also, had the Mac n Cheese, the grilled pork chops, rice and broccoli casserole, and greens. The flavor was a chef's kiss every time!

Fried Catfish 2pc is DELICIOUS, hot and fresh, and the fried Okra (Gr) Fried was so crispy and perfectly seasoned! A big portion for the price too!

Whomever packed my order needs to be retrained on how to package food orders correctly. The heavier plate was on top of everything else including the two sides and the banana pudding, which were placed at the very bottom of the bag. The two sides wasted out in the bag. That doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

This time, the pork chops are too small for the price.
Banana Pudding
The banana pudding is only filled 1/3 of the container that it is in.
Meatloaf
The meatloaf is only one piece, it's advertised as two pieces.
And, also, I called and asked for two extra pieces of sweet cornbread (a total of 4) and I only received two pieces.

the Meatloaf was really really goodand nice portion. my 3th time getting it and will definitely again. I mix em with my mashed potatoes. so delicious.i enjoy the extra patty/meatloaf myself as well. taste like it all was made with love.thank you very much

I absolutely love this place! The lovely lady who cooks the Meatloaf just outdoes herself every time. And they make a pineapple cake so moist you don't even need milk. Sizzling Skillet is truly a hidden gem for down home cookin'!
