Our meal consisted Oriental Chicken Salad, Beef Dumplings (5 Pcs.), and Somac Korean Fried Chicken (Combo)
We always get the Oriental Chicken salad without the chicken and substitute spicy pork. We also get the Seasoned Soy dressing. Best oriental salad in town.
And the Korean chicken is just fantastic and worth the extra time for cooking.

I have never seen Korean restaurant use kale, lettuce, cabbage in bibimbap to replace spinach, mushroom, and other pickles. I feel cheated. Also their banchan isnt anything to brag about regular pickled shred cabbage. I ordered $140 worth of take out from here (1st time ordered from here with DoorDash). 2 Bibimbap, Japchae, bulgogi kimbap, and Korean Chicken Strip with only one serving of very small banchan meant for one order. I will drive to So Korean BBQ next time to get better and more portion food for better price.

The seollantang portion was small and unflavorful, the beef quality low and chewy, and they only gave around 2 pieces. Very overpriced for the portion sizes - the beef wrapped green onions were miniature, less than bite-sized, and were very expensive. The bibimbap was okay, their rice (as a side) was dry and tough. Overall disappointing for price, quality, and authenticity. I would recommend going to any other Korean restaurant if you want to spend $70 on a meal for 2.

Somac has been one of our go-to's for Korean cuisine. Their yukgaejang, Spicy Korean ramen, and fried chicken are all superb! Their seafood pancake is one of the best in NoVa and the service has been always top notch. Take out, delivery or dine-in meals have been spot on. This place is a gem!

foods very very good just wish there was a way to order their sauces. Super yummy overall and foods always consistently yummy! If it's your first time i definitely recommend the soy garlic strips 10/10 sooo good
