This is some of the best food I have ever tasted. Yes it's absurdly expensive, but it is SUBLIME. Butter Chicken was so tender and flavorful and well presented. Satay sticks were perfect and the peanut sauce was delicious. Samosas were well spiced and I love the sweet chili dipping sauce. Roti Prata was immaculate and the curry dip was just right. Might not be able to afford it regularly but WOW is it worth it.

Where to begin? The cha kway teow used the wrong noodles, so it was more like pad thai pretending to be the dish.
Both dishes were woefully tiny in terms of portion quality. The garlic noodles could've passed as an instant noodles dish for how few vegetables were actually included in it. Wouldn't order them again.

The apple prawn slaw was so light and refreshing. The Hainan Chicken was so tender! The butter chicken was very flavorful. And the fried cauliflower had a great citrusy & creamy dip. We loved every dish we ordered.

I am from Singapore and I have to say this is probably the most authentic in term of taste. Prices are ridiculous but hey its fine dining. Check out "Chicken Meets Rice" for something that comes pretty close to replicating the taste of Singaporean food.

I've ordered food from Straits in the past, the usual being, garlic noodles & the lollipop chicken. Hadn't had an issue until today, 3/23/25.
Ordered through Doordash as before, order received in the bag handed to me at my front door. Opened both containers and dug in. Took a few bites of the garlic noodles, then 2 lollipop chicken pieces until I noticed an extremely strong taste of plastic & petroleum taste. I took a few more bites and the taste became more unbearable.
I stopped eating the food. Placed it in the house trash and engaged Doordash application where it hadn't registered, ' you can't be reimbursed for this order...' I was only reporting the issue. Didn't ask for a refund.
I called Strits and spoke to a receptionist same night around 6:15pm asking that she have a manager call me back. I felt that this person would do so. She stated that, 'the manager is really busy but I'll tell him about your concerns.
I have yet to hear back from anyone at this time.
