Birria was dry, no consommé. Chile relleno was so hot it was inedible. Usually my favorite. Have no description in level of heat on any dish. Elotes Locos was banging! Shredded chicken sopes was delish. Carne Asada Taco was dry. Go to Mexico in htown, way better.

I discovered Taqueria Don Jose recently because I work a lot of late nights and Every time I order from here it's always amazing quality food!! Very Flavorful and great portion sizing!! Thank you for making me feel like I'm having a home cooked meal

I ordered $40 and tried the hot Chicken Wings 8 Count, Shrimp Taco, Ground Beef, and Fried Beans. The wings were very chewy and I only ate 2. The tacos had little to no flavor, even after I added Grated Cheese and the red House Red Salsa. Tasted like I was eating diluted tacos, and the fried beans had an orange/red look to them, the oil was sitting on the surface. I decided not to try the beans because I was discontent with the rest of the meal. I gave this location an honest try and will not be returning, would not order again.

#1 mexican restaurant around here. the food is great, their tacos are fantastic, the salsa Verde is perfect! They're the best by a good margin! move overy La Tolteca and Mexico!
