• 7/5/25This is my second time getting this and it is amazing. Hands down a Taste of China is the best place to go in slidell if you want Chinese. Their <<taggedItemId=7223799110>>C26. Bourbon Chicken（宝宝鸡—晚）rbon Chicken（宝宝鸡—晚）<</taggedItemId>> is my new favorite. The chicken is very well marinated in the bourbon glaze . No batter on the chicken but it crisps and full of flavors. Plus their chicken fried rice is delicious all on its own. No soy souses needed

• 7/12/23Wow. This place never misses! Always piping hot, fresh, and non greasy. Legit the best Chinese restaurant in The Dell. I can say that bc I have tried them alllll lol. I used to favor another eatery, but the quality has gone down so much that it isn't even worth the drive since they arent on doordash. Havent even considered giving them another chance since coming across this place. I'm obsessed with the C19. Shrimp with Broccoli. Great sized shrimp, perfectly cooked broccoli and the sauce is juicy and flavorful. Also love, love 5a. Fried Pork Wonton (10) with the sweet and sour sauce. Super yummy, crunchy, and made to share due to the portion size . The filling is a tad dry but i don't mind it. If you prefer a juicer filling, get the boiled dumplings. I can eat from here once a week w/o it feeling overindulgent bc nothing is greasy or old tasting. The whole family loves it. They pack their plates to the brim. Whoever is back there cooking, I hope they stick around for a long time because it is evident that they care about the food they put out. Legit a 10/10. This is coming from a pretty good cook with high standards regarding food quality!

• 12/5/24This was my first time trying Taste of China and they did not disappoint. Even having the food delivered (I live on the other side of Gause from them), it was hot and delicious. The pint of shrimp fried rice was easily 2 meals worth and the shrimp eggrolls were HUGE. I've never seen eggrolls this big and they were SOOO good. I will definitely be ordering from Taste of China again.
