My family and I wanted to cry after taking our first bites from Tastebudz Creole Kitchen! The jerk oxtail was absolutely incredible, and the red beans and rice, mac and cheese, corn, and collard greens were all seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Every single bite was packed with flavor and had us savoring every mouthful. It truly felt like comfort food made with love. Everything was delicious from start to finish!
Thank you, Tastebudz Creole Kitchen, for an amazing meal. We will definitely be ordering again very soon!

Honestly, I really wanted to love this, but unfortunately, our experience wasn’t what we expected. The food didn’t look quite like the pictures, and some of the dishes were disappointing.
The mac and cheese didn’t really look or taste like mac and cheese to us, and the steak looked more like ground beef. I wouldn’t have minded that if the flavor had been there, but unfortunately, it was just way too salty. The elote was also inconsistent, about half of it was bland, while the rest seemed to be doused in butter. The rice was very mushy, and we only had about 5–6 pieces of shrimp in the dish.
This was our first time trying their food, and I hate being a Debbie Downer because I know everyone’s taste is different. I also probably should have read more reviews beforehand. That said, for $50+ almost $60, I was expecting a different experience. I’m glad we gave it a try, but unfortunately, it just wasn’t a meal we really enjoyed. I'm sure other dish items on their menu taste wonderful and I know they probably work very hard and put their heart's into making these meals. I'd probably in the future order something else. But for today our rating stands at a solid 3/10.

DRY chicken.. wasn't no jerk flavor just lots of pepper. Awful. Red beans and rice was black beans with white steamed rice bland!!!
1 piece of tiny corn for $12 for the Elotes. This place was a joke.

The macaroni is 10/10 and the yams were the best yams I've ever tried I'm trying to eat as slow as possible lol and the jerk chicken is fire I just wish it came with rice as well but overall 10/10 meal thank you guys I will be trying again !

Sweet potatoes were an easy 10/10 and so was the mac and cheese. The jerk chicken though was a 6/10 at best, the seasoning was good but I don't like that the chicken is shredded and not in juicy chunks as the advertised picture. The chicken being shredded isn't as good quality and the price should reflect that. Many other spots have the same price as this place and have better quality chicken as chunks or drumsticks and also include rice under so at that point I would go to a different place. If I came here again, I would order something else next time as long as it's not shredded meat and I wish they posted a more accurate picture representing the plate.
