Literally the best fried chicken in the East Bay. They really know what they’re doing. They don’t close the container all the way, so the chicken stays crispy instead of getting soggy. The quality stays fresh and the texture perfect.

We got 2 mediums with 4 different flavors. The curry one was okay as it didon't taste much like curry. Soy garlic is always a good choice. Also got 2 different spicy flavors but they we're not that spicy at all. Unless we got the wrong order. Wish they labeld the boxes to determine which is which as we had to guess. They are decent size for a good price. Wish they provided more rice. We did not eat right away perhaps 20 mins but it was still kind of crispy and warm. but it is always best to eat right away. Needs more distinct flavor. Not more sauce or anything but distinct and more flavor. I feel this place changed something. I haven't had this in a long time but it tasted different. I would give thisplace 7/10.

Best chicken in the Hayward/Castro Valley area. The most consistent spot for flavor and quality. I get the spicy and no sauce most of the time and it always comes out perfectly cooked.

Chicken on Fire has the best wings! I always order the L.1 Wings (Large) for the family and I. We get the Soy Garlic and Spicy-Medium. Other than the delicious wings, they have great customer service and I highly recommend this spot.

Chicken is tender but batter and sauce are def not up to expectation. Makes me think that chicken was in the salt water for too long, since they were about to go bad. Was expecting more of Korean Fried Chicken taste but it's neither that or traditional American wings. Drumsticks are HUGE which reduces the taste.
