This is honestly the BEST burger I have had in a long time!!! It was so big that I could only eat half now and half the next day. You must try one of their burgers, you WON'T be disappointed!! The fries were also good, large portion too!!

Nation's has been my favorite burger joint for decades but sadly, things have changed. As they have modernized menus and tech in the stores, they have seemingly forgotten that the FOOD is what matters most. They used to stack 2 thick slices of onion, 2 thick slices of fresh tomato, and a big crunchy fold of fresh iceberg lettuce on a generous slather of Miracle Whip-like dressing and inch-deep cheese to make the freshest, tastiest burger in the state. Now the onion and tomato are half the thickness, the lettuce is a single wilty layer, there's a quarter-sized dab of mayo (no dressing), and a thin slice of cheese that doesn't cover the whole beef patty. To add insult to injury, their delicious REAL bacon is gone; now it's microwave teasers so thin and narrow they only approximate the real thing. I didn't mind paying more for Nation's in the old days because they were WORTH it and they were the best. Now they're on a par with In N' Out and 1/4 Pound. I miss the old Nation's.

The food arrived in tamperproof packaging.
The STRAWBERRY SHAKE was perfect tasted like fresh strawberry ice cream was well blended and super cold and thick upon arrival.
The CHEESE OMELETTE (A LA CARTE) was delicious exactly what I needed as I was healing from dental surgery.
And the PEACHES & CREME PIE (SLICE)
Well that's just the icing on the cake, so to speak;
all the pies at nations are always delicious and this was exceptional. It's peach it's summer and it was yummy!
Flavio got my order here hella fast, including the water from Lucky's, and I gave him an additional tip increased by 50%.
Make sure you're tipping your drivers and give them kindness and support for many are going through difficult times.

exceeded my expectations, 10/10
burger was cooked thoroughly but NOT dry, not too much lettuce, tomatoes were fresh, bacon was crispy and cheese was cheesey. onion rings were thick, golden brown, and still crispy by the time I got back home with them

NATION'S always delivers yummy food, shakes and pies! And at an affordable price point, hella fast. Good stuff! Gonna order dinner again right now.
And for all the times I ate there in person, really friendly staff.
I have been eating at Nation's for the past 44 years and I am still a fan!
I always get a slice of pie, no matter the time of day.
I love their lemon meringue pie, shakes and fries.
Basic and well prepared comfort food.
The Castro Valley location is my spot now. Pleasanton location was my first location, went there on a date with my college BF in 1982.
OK, super hungry now and gots to get my dinner order in!!
