Oysters were fried in clean oil. Pickles had good texture and flavor. Olives were olives but I love olives so there's that.

Really, the best ever grilled cheese. And the cake, and the slaw, the olives, the quiche...we loved them all! Every detail made the flavors meld and pop. (My only complaints--lack of requested utensils, and SO much fresh garlic on the fries.) In spite of the challenging cost, we will DEFINITELY be back! Thanks for making us such a delicious meal!

I eat here regularly and was surprised at the poor quality of my order. The oysters and fries were cooked until near burnt. I hope this is a one off- food is usually fantastic tasting and perfectly prepared.

Big Sur Melt is delicious and always arrives with the bread still crispy
Hand-Cut Kennebec Fries didn't have any salt on them but do have chopped garlic tossed with them in case you don't want garlic. We added fried oysters and those are definitely worth getting.
House Drinks we did not receive the two lemonades we ordered
Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookie we did not receive these and got two bread puddings instead which was a substitution we would not have wanted since we also ordered the Daily Dessert and stated no bread putting in that if cake or fruit tart (description says that's what you'll get) were not available.
We had two Olives orders because we really enjoy these and only received one.
This was a Sat night so maybe they were really busy, but did place this before 5pm

The TCAHF Burger had almost no taste and was very undercooked. The Hand-Cut Kennebec Fries were okay, but had no salt, and the garlic that was added to them was raw. Everything arrived cold and the fries soggy. It was an order placed towards the end of the evening and it seemed hastily prepared.
