Mel's has a lot of classic diner food with good portions for a decent price that tastes good. I have been to the diner many times and on my first order from them was happy to find that the portion sizes were almost the same as if in the restaurant itself. I also liked that they put the food in a sealed plastic bag with a handle to make it easier on the delivery personas well as help to know it was not opened in the moving from diner to car to home. the sampler is one of the best varieties, the chilli dog has an oddity as it is served over a flat hoagie bun instead of a hot dog bun, and the berry pie hit the spot.

The patty melt was tasty, but the onions were still mostly uncooked. The fries were a little overcooked. The burger patty was a good size and well cooked and the rye bread was toasted on the griddle very nicely.

The beer battered cod was so crispy and perfectly fried. The fish was cooked through and still remained moist even all the way to the edges. The batter was also thin and not over battered. One thing I would like to mention. Maybe from now on they don't put the container of cole slaw in with the hot fries and hot fish. When I got it the lid was starting to melt and the cole slaw was warm. Other than that it was a delicious and satisfying
meal.

Ordered multi times from Original Mel's Diner and each dlevery has been packaged well is delivered hot and on time. My son loves their Chicken & Waffle- w/strips and we have even dined-in at the restaurant a few times and we have always been they always treated us with friendly service!
Their Mels Chicken Wings are my favorite and fries are still crispy and seasoned just right (not soggy like some deliveries) inside package container! I'm working late so on-time delivery with food still warm is much appreciated-thank you!!

I love Mel's Diner! Delicious food and I've never had an issue. I love the way the potatoes are cooked all the way through for the Country Skillet. The portions and prices are very reasonable!
