Katsu Omelette Curry Rice was tasty & good portion. The egg was soft & the katsu was perfectly cooked.

A bit dissappoint due to burnt Japanese Popcorn Chicken唐揚雞.
So the overall taste made it feel upset.
The portion for Katsu Omelette Curry Rice歐姆蛋炸豬排咖哩飯 is good, but there are some burnt on Katsu as well.
So I would give it 3/5 for my experience.

It was not filling at all. Very lacking in quality & quantity. I had a bowl of rice (lots of rice) and 5 tiny chicken pieces. The "omelette" was not yellow in colour, if anything it looked like left over whites; again, a small piece of egg that did not cover the rice as pictured in their menu. The curry tasted like the instant cubed ones that you can buy at a grocery store and make yourself. It did not look appetizing and was very mediocre in taste.

Saw their buy 1 get 1 Hire Katsu deal and decided to try. Was expecting a proper sized piece of katsu based on other customer's photos but the one we received was quite small, about the size of a large chicken strip. Perhaps the portion is larger at regular price but that's unfortunate. Katsu was also a bit dry. They did provide a solid portion of rice and a good amount of curry sauce which was tasty.

I dont like to give bad reviews because I know restaurant workers work very hard, but this curry with tonkatsu was pretty disappointing. The rice was not sticky rice, it was quite dry. The curry was fairly standard. The kimchi was stale. I am a big fan of tonkatsu but this one was thin and dry. With a name like craftsman curry i had high expectations for something better, Many other better tonkatsu restaurants in vancouver.
