The Mutton Fry Pulav was amazing!! Great flavor and spice level. The best Indian Food in Denton by far. Boneless Mutton would be a better option but the amount of Mutton was great. Chilli Chicken also tasted amazing, full of flavor.

We didn't hate the meal, but it had it's disappointing moments. The Chai Tea was labeled as large. When I held the cup, it barely extended past my hand. It was delicious and they took the time to add foil so that none spilled out. I would have been satisfied if I hadn't expected more. Ordered Mutton Keema Pav and sides of pav. Those were substituted for something else and received Mutton covered in rice. OK but not really what we wanted. Samosas were pretty average. Chilly Gobi was great. Indian Street noodles with Chicken weren't bad. Mango Rasmalai was good.

I have gotten this dish multiple times and have loved it. It had the perfect spice level but this time it was so spicy that it was unedible. and I am saying this as an Indian. I Bit into the samosa and the dough was raw. I am not really sure what happened, the food is usually really good.

I have visited several of the newer Indian food trucks recently, and unfortunately, this latest experience with the Pani Puri followed a disappointing pattern. There seems to be a trend where kitchens are desperately trying to attract U.S. and Mexican demographics by pushing spice levels to an extreme.
The Flavor vs. Heat Issue:
The common misconception here is that "spicier equals better." If you look at why Mexican cuisine is so successful and beloved, it is because they achieve a perfect harmony between heat and distinct, vibrant flavors. In contrast, the Pani Puri I ordered here was so aggressively spicy that it completely stripped the dish of its identity. I could no longer taste the tangy, aromatic Indian masalas or the traditional "soul" of the dish—only the burn.
Local Insight for the Vendors:
To the owners: Please understand the Texas palate. While people here certainly enjoy spicy food, they love the food for its authentic character. We don’t need the heat turned up to a level that masks the ingredients. By trying too hard to cater to a perceived preference for "extreme heat," you are actually losing the very flavors that make Indian street food special.
Conclusion:
This was my final attempt to find a balanced Pani Puri among the local trucks, and it was a total disappointment. I am hoping for a change in direction where these kitchens stop chasing spice levels and return to authentic, flavor-first cooking. Until then, I cannot recommend this to anyone looking for a true taste of India.
