I really liked the basil chicken. It came with a broth which I poured onto the rice. The portion sizes were very generous and I have quite a lot left over.
One thing that was unfortunate is that doordash AI filled in description of the The Basic as having condensed milk. It does not. The actual thai milk iced tea has a photo of a non milk drink, which is why I was confused. I ended up having to purchase ANOTHER iced milk tea to replace the nonmilk one I was given, which sucks because $7 is a lot of money. I essentially paid $15 for one tea. I'm sure the basic is really yummy for those who likes tea with no milk.
Overall, I would come again, but I highly recommend that the business put descriptions on all items so that garbage AI doesn't make things up about items.

I'm Thai and the fried chicken rice was pretty good. It reminds me of the one that I had back home in Thailand. The signature chicken rice was good too. This place is my top choice if I just want a quick take out order during my lunch break. If the chicken could be softer and there's collagen layer that would be an absolute fire!!! Good curry and rice too! A little sweet but it's great! I don't get the hate :/ Thai tea is pretty solid. It was better than from some Thai restaurants anyway.

Nope! Never again.. the tom kha is more sweet than rich coconut. The lemongrass leaves were so tough and in edible, barely any chicken, plus the pieces of whatever the brown pieces in the second picture.. the rice was supposed to be chicken rice but I got clumpy overcooked white rice instead. This was not worth the price..

Ordered a mix of foods to try everything out. Overall Tuk Tuk is pretty good, but a few items fell short.
Basil Chicken with Chicken rice: Got it mild spicy since it's my first time trying this restaurant. Definitely more mild than expected. The basil chicken also has a sauce, so plain rice is totally fine since it kind of covered up the chicken rice flavor. Came with a side of soup.
Chicken combo with chicken rice: Great dish to try both the poached and fried chicken. The poached chicken is pretty bland (great for toddlers) but the fried chicken is really good. Came with a side of soup.
Roti with yellow curry: Way way too oily. There was a literal pool of oil in the bottom of the box.
Chicken Wings: Super crispy, very delicious. Got salt and pepper but the wings tasted a bit sweet?
Rocket Shrimp: Not bad, but not something I would order again. Just shrimp in the wrapper.
Thai Tea: Not too sweet which is perfect for me
