Everything was warm and fresh. The Chicken Karaage had a nicely flavored breading, good crisp and juicy meat. The Yakisoba was good, but different. The chicken in the yakisoba was breaded like the karaage and there was large chunk of red pepper. Raw pieces of spinach too. It was pretty good, just haven't ever had that style noodles with those kind of veggies.

I love umi so much but it can be hit or miss; despite the misses, I've ordered from and been to umi countless times. Sometimes you'll just get nasty cucumber peel in your roll and sometimes you'll get some nice tender cuke that is yummy. The fish is pretty consistently good. I love the variety in rolls and their late night happy hour is pretty solid. Legend of the rolls, Casanova, and spicy rainbow are my fav rolls. I like the HH sushi set A and the garlic short ribs are delish as well.
