OMGOODNESS! A lil pricey but very nostalgic. I felt like I was in my Grandmother's kitchen at her kitchen TABLE, Y'all! The chicken tenders were SO-well seasoned, not greasy. I chose the comeback sauce because I didn't know which sauce was closer to a thai honey sauce. It was different, but good. OH! Collard greens and white beans, took me back to the family home--good ole Southern food!

Fried Pickles were still crispy! My husband ate his Wing Basket with too quickly for me to take a photo. The Fowl Mouth was huge and delicious! I got potato wedges as the side and they were pretty good.
Everything tasted great - my only tiny complaint is the minimal amount of ranch for our order.

The cucumber, tomato and onion salad REALLY helped me to remember the Family home and my Grandmother's cooking! She made that, too. Although your collards and white beans (which are nutritious) did not need any enhancement, the salad made them pop! It was also kinda like the pepper sauce on her kitchen table, but fresher.

My friend took me here for the 1st time yesterday. It was so good, I ordered from here today. Both the 5 TENDER BASKET & FRIED 1/4 DARK were excellent. Bone-in pieces are a little small, but the chicken is hot, crispy, tender and flavorful. I had the rotisserie chicken yesterday. Also flavorful. Collard greens were like my grandma made them. I wwish pepper sauce had been included in the Door Dash order. Cucumber/Tomato salad is more generous than at Homer's. Fresh. BANANA PUDDING was delicious, as well.
I wish I could have had lemon added to my SWEET TEA 32OZ, but itcwas still fresh & good.
white Alabama sauce is my favorite bit the others I tried were good, too. I like the tiny cheddar biscuits.
Thumbs up to this new-to-me restaurant.

The KIDS TENDERS were very good tonight for my son, but the side of onion rings had a l too much kick in the seasoning. I tried them myself and agree, they were a little too spicy. The FIRE ROASTED 1/4 WHITE is always my fav. It's juicy and had great flavor.
