This was my 1st time eating here. I wouldn't come back. I ordered the Half Smoked Meat Platter and it lacked flavor, except for SALT!. the sausage was straight up nasty and smaller than I expected. it actually tasted old. I personally don't like skin on my sausage. the pork was ok, I guess. kind of dry. the brisket was very fatty and greasy. I got a total of 4 sides: Collard GreensPotato Salad, Mac & cheese, and jalapeno grits. the meal came with bread as well. greens were meh.. nothing special. the meat in the geens was weird. potato salad was bland, too much mayonnaise, the Mac and cheese was basic.
I did like the jalapeno grits but it was salty. the bread was thick and I guess it was supposed to be Texas toast but, it looked like a piece of pound cake! and it was dry and took forever to chew. I got 2 sauces, BBQ and spicy garlic, I think... no, just no..... I'll stick with City BBQ

Smoked Chicken Platter was very good. Sides of Mac/cheese and collard greens were both delicious.

Buyer beware, at least when it comes to the price of their wings.
We were ready to be repeat customers. My husband really liked the brisket last time, and I wanted to try something new, so I went for the smoked wings.
Their site says $12.49 for 6, $18.49 for 10. On DoorDash, it STARTS at $12.49, then forces you to pick 6 wings (+$14.99) or 10 wings (+$22.19). That puts the 6-piece at nearly $28 and the 10-piece over $34. That’s more than 2x for the 6-piece and ~1.87x for the 10.
I always expect an up-charge on DoorDash, but this screams “I don’t know how to use technology, and now it’s your problem.” And I only caught it because I happened to be paying attention. Most people accept the prices at face value.
We called. They admitted it’s a known issue. No fix. No workaround. No urgency.
You don’t keep customers by doubling (or nearly doubling) prices just because no one wants to update the menu.
