Wow. Delicious. So glad to have more amazing Arabic food in Lex. We tried everything- chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, kafta, kibbeh, shish tawook, shish kabob, grape leaves, hummus, falafel and it was all so fabulous and fresh. Will add this to our list of staple restaurants! The portion size is also great, this will definitely get us through lunch tomorrow and then some.

The shawarma Lunch Specials is an incredible value, and SO good! Super generous portion, beautifully presented, and every component is wildly delicious. I requested sides of Shatta (Hot Sauce) and Tzatziki Sauce and they threw in extra sides of spicy tahini sauce (which was so good it was unreal) and toum as well. So nice!! The fattoush salad is one of my favorite things they offer, my only request would be to put the dressing on the side for to-go orders. It is fresh and delicious regardless! Love love love Watan.

First and second deliveries were horrible, but we decided to give it another try. Third, fourth, and fifth deliveries have been near perfection. They seem to have resolved all prior issues. Beef/steak was excellent quality and very tender. Shrimp & chicken were perfection. (Perfectly cooked with a little char and still very tender.) Lentil soup is also very nice.

Dont let the pice fool you if you looking for more quantity half a chicken is alot of meat plus much fresher and much juicer than dry cuts not to mention flavor that extra moisture packswith the spicesand seasonings, come on thats im what imtalking about!
