• 11/7/24Ordered a Pork Rib Lunch from happy hour. I would say this is a deal. The container came fully packed with ribs and ample amount of sauce. Got a potato salad and beens as my side and they are both flavorful and tasty.

I was craving fried fish that wasn't too expensive and landed on this restaurant. This was very reasonably priced at happy hour. I ended up ordering the 8 Pc Fish. The fish tasted good; both the fried breading (nicely salted with good spices) & the fish itself. The fish was cooked well enough, but the breading could have been crispier; this did not crunch.
I also got the Bbq Tri-Tip Sandwich. It was decently sized; not too small, not huge. The bread was as expected. The meat was very good! There was a good amount of fat on the medium-large chunks of meat -- i personally love that, as it's sad when chunks are nothing but lean.
It comes with a side, and I chose the potato salad. The potatoes were cooked well enough to not be hard (on the raw side). The mix it was in had a good heap sized amount of mayo in it, BUT it had a very strong taste of pickles. So if you don't like pickles, you will not like the potato salad.

• 5/19/26The fried catfish is the freshest and best seasoned I've had in a very long minute, and the sausage burger is literally bursting with size and FLAVOR! This place is absolutely amazing, and I don't say that lightly, as I order Cajun food more than weekly. World Champion Smokehouse certainly gets my five star, Yum-Yum vote!

• 6/7/23This BBQ feast really hit it out of the park. The ribs were off-the-hook good, spicy and so tender they fell right off the bone. The tri-tip wasn't any less impressive, rich in flavor, and cooked just right. And let's not forget the macaroni salad, a perfect side that kept things cool and balanced. This is real-deal BBQ, folks. You won't want to miss out.

• 4/21/26I ordered a rib plate with potato salad and beans,12 pc 12 Pc Fish and turkey tails. The packaging was bad.The bag had bbq sauce all in it and was messy.The portions were coo. More than enough food for a family. We actually had leftovers the next day.The rib plate was actually rib tips.They were fatty nd chewy.Not a lot of meat on it,and the sauce tasted like burnt pan drippings. The flavor of the potato salad was good but it was mashed potato salad. The turkey tails were good but the skin was chewy and inedible.i ended up soaking the turkey tails in bbq sauce overnight to tenderize it and it was good.I would probably only order here again if I'm looking for a good value but quality and flavor needs some work.
