if you like Szechuan food and tingling numbing mala spice, this is one of my favorite restaurants. The Wonton with Spicy Peanut Sauce 红油抄手 , the Couple's Delight夫妻肺片 and Szechuan Chili Lamb 小炒黑山羊 are some of best on the Peninsula. It's always fresh and delicious.

These are the best wontons - great filling but spicy peanut sauce is the star. We have yet to try wontons from another place that comes close to these. Sour & spicy soup also good, and the large is huge (would have gotten a small for 2 people had we known the portion size).

Very bland with average spice, but still pretty good. The Green Onion Beef 葱爆牛 was the most bland of all and mostly just tasted like onions... regular onions. The Black Pepper Beef 黑椒牛 was pretty good and less bland than the rest. Dry Sautéed String Bean 干煸四季豆 was fine, thought it would be spicier though. Yangzhou Fried Rice 扬州炒饭 was fine. However, the Wonton with Spicy Peanut Sauce 红油抄手 was the most disappointing. It just tasted like straight up chili oil...there was no peanut taste whatsoever. Good wontons, but not what I was expecting at all.

It was good but not spicy enough for me considering it's Szechuan. The peanut sauce seems to be hot chili oil sauce with crushed peanuts so it was kind of misleading. Price is on the high end for the amount of food you get.

The dish tasted pretty good, but they should put more effort into the selection and preparation of the ingredients. The lamb was very tough to chew and quite fatty. I could hardly find a single piece of lamb that was tender and easy to chew in this dish.
