Nice big helpings, jerk chicken is spicy as all get out, and the chick peas are ridiculously yummy. I first had a bowl when the food truck was at Pride this weekend and I needed a fix while at work 3 days later! My tongue is on fire but my belly is happy! 😋

I was disappointed at first because the greens and cheesy bread that I ordered were both out of stock, and the lady working called to tell me they didn't have the sauce for the jerk chicken and asked which other one I would like but failed to mention half my order was not even available. But I have been dying to try Nigerian food, so I accepted the refund that she (happily offered) and it was worth every single cent! the Jerk chicken with the lemon jerk sauce is so flavorful, tender and perfectly spicy, and the curry chickpeas were the perfect sweet compliment to it, and the rice is amazing. but the star was the Egusi which I grabbe a fufu to eat it with, and I will be back again and again to get this and try everything else on the menu. customer service was excellent and the food was hot and fresh !!!

I recommend ordering from YumVillage! Delivery was fast, portions were large & everything seemed fresh. My only issue was that the bottle of Pepsi was warm, but I just popped it in the fridge & problem solved!
We were so excited to try Fufu & Egusi Soup! We've been watching people eat it on TikTok for months & couldn't wait to try it. I'm in no way an expert on African Food, but one difference I noticed was that the Fufu here wasn't served in plastic wrap, but rather in a take out container. The Egusi Soup looked exactly like I expected it to! It's definitely a flavor I've never had before. We didn't personally like the taste of the Fufu or Egusi Soup, but I am so grateful to have gotten to try it! I highly recommend trying it for yourself, especially at such a great price.
We had also ordered the coconut Rice but unfortunately they were out & subbed it with Turmeric Rice, which was a little salty but very yummy!
I would absolutely order from here again to try their other Rices!

I would've gave my food 5 stars but I wish it was more rice portions. I had more Yam Stew & Maafe Peanut Stew then rice. Also my stew was more broth than anything. Other than that flavors were amazing.

This manna from heaven dipped in the yam stew has changed my life forever!!! The coconut rice, plaintains, and stew with the African cheesy bread has touched my soul in a way that fried chicken could never do hahaha. I'm a fan. Period.
