This is the best moimoi i've had in years!
the Zobo is just right. The egusi is very flavorful. But the star of the show is the goat. tender, well seasoned.
portion sizes are large enough to share and spicy, but not too spicy.
i'll have to go back and get the oxtail- they ran out. so i got the goat instead. i am so not sorry.

As an African American man, I am getting familiar with my mother's land's culture and food. My Nigerian doctor recommended Zion Kitchen. I'm glad I tried this restaurant via DoorDash. I've had Jollof Rice once before at another African food restaurant and once homemade. This is my third time. This was the absolute best tasting Jollof Rice and my first African Oxtail! I will be ordering from this place again.

The Egusi Soup, Fufu w/ Chicken was soooo flavorful. I will get it again and again. Decent enough to fill up one person, but I shared it and we were both full!

The egusi was spicy enough and well spiced although I needed more fufu and the meat pie was good too although I wanted it to have some more veggies, it was more like Jamaican patties

Wish they could've put more meat and filled up the containers more with the plantain too. Flavors of the foods were delicious.
