I ordered the okra and egusi soups with goat, along with the sides of pounded yam. I ordered way too much food for just me, but i couldnt decide! Overall, I really enjoyed it. My main complaint is that the goat was very dry. Not the end of the world, but it made me wish I had not gotten any protein because the soups were good on their own and ended up picking around the meat. I loved the texture of the pounded yam, its exactly what I hoped it would be. The serving sizes were also good, if you are like me and want to try multiple things, you could definitely share.
If you like spicy I would order it extra spicy, it needed heat (for me). They did give me a little side of a chili sauce though, which I used all of. "

When I first started ordering the Eru, it was almost $27 BUT, the portions were nice to where I could reasonably split it and get two meals out of it. Now, I pay almost $30 (after tax and fees) and the fufu is smaller than the palm of my hand and the Eru barely stretches one serving. That is ridiculous. $25 for a tiny bowl is ridiculous. Now I will say, the food is quite fresh. I appreciate that. The fufu sometimes has super chewy hard pieces where you could tell they cooked it on high and/or didn't stir/pound it enough. Today's fufu was the best I've had from them. It was cooked perfectly. Please fix the portions"

Found this gem.... I have to say.... this is the best Jamaican food in the city, I ordered the jerk chicken and the brown stew chicken, and both were seasoned to absolute perfection. Not too much, not too little....every bite had flavor that hit exactly right.
The sides weren’t an afterthought either. The broccoli had the perfect texture.... not hard, not mushy, just right. The cabbage was full of flavor, and the rice held its own too. Everything on the plate was intentional.
And the portions.... They are NOT skimping. Im genuinely full, which doesn’t happen often. As someone who is a tough critic when it comes to food, I don’t say this lightly.... Betta Taste Jerk got it.

"Food came fairly quickly for a Superbowl Sunday, but it was bland. I got the Cali-Cali Burrito and the fries were completely unseasoned, steak was a bit better but overcooked, almost no guac. Mostly stuffed with the plain fries. Chicken Quesadilla and side salsa also mediocre and fairly bland. best thing was the queso, but it was pretty standard, nothing special."

"I've ordered from this place 5 times already (like 10 drinks) and without fail every drink is perfectly packaged (sealed), correctly customized, and paper bag stapled. They provide the spoons, straws, napkins, and cup holders even if you don't request. Highly recommend the che (fruit addict, halo halo, smashed avocado), blended drinks (mangonada, soursop, viet coffee), but I'd say the macarons are hit and miss. Owners are Viet which is cool. Thw coffee was everything that I've missed since college. Oh! The macarons are delicious. I wanted to try so many flavors, just to see what they taste like.
