"The DH Special Breakfast Sandwich was a real standout. With a nice green spread that added some good vegetal background to the egg patty and melted cheese. I would have preferred a crispier bacon, but since this was a delivery order, I could remedy that.
The Conchas here are first rate, nice pillowy softness in the slightly sour bread that keeps for a few days in a plastic container, with a nice crunchy and sometimes colorful exterior/top. Great dipped in a cup of strong Coffee , which Dos Hermanos definitely provides. While I don't drink sweetened coffee, they included both pure honey and sugar packets.
Their take on a Bavarian Pretzel is pretty good; maybe not the best I've ever had but a real nice "fresh" option.
The only items I've had at D.H. that haven't been my favorite are a few of the cookies. The Oatmeal Raisin Cookie is too crispy for my taste, and I've also bought a gluten-free almond cookie in person before. That one was really rough, but softened in a hot beverage. In contrast, I do love their snickerdoodle and many of the pastries I've tried so far.
The only thing left? Trying out LUNCH sandwiches. :)"

"The kickstarter Kickstart Breakfast Sandwich isn't much to write home about. The ratio of dense bun to the rest of ingredients leaves a lot to be desired. It's honestly cheaper and arguably better to get a couple of sausage egg McMmuffins from the golden arches and come away more satisfied.
The Ham & Swiss Ham + Swiss Croissant on the other hand is always simple & perfect in every way with a significantly larger croissant than you might find elsewhere for the price."

Biscoff dessert was amazing! Outstanding flavor of Biscoff. Cookie crumbles on bottom with nice fluffy mousse filling toooed with Biscoff cookie and a pipette of wonderful Biscoff like syrup.
Dubai Chocolate: Size is smaller than it appears in photos online. Approximately 2inch x 2inch c approximately 3/4 to 1 inch. Good quality chocolate that is very thick. Pistachio and kafaifi has nice crunch and flavor, but slightly dry texture and could use more.
Baklava: VERY DISAPPOINTING: Bottom layers compressed as they should be, but very hard. Top layers flaky as should be. Pistachio filling had slight off putting flavor unlike any I have had before. Overall dry, and lacked nice honey drizzle. We were really craving baklava and ordered extra to enjoy with company tomorrow and cannot serve this for dessert!
Overall quality ingredients appear to have been used and fresh. Would only order Biscoff dessert again."

"Oh my god that chocolate cake is to die for!! I haven't tried the lemon or german chocolate cakes yet, but believe me when I say that one slice was GOOD!! I don't normally eat cakes because I find them quite meh, but that chocolate cake was moist, held together amazingly well, and the frosting was generous without being too much. The whole cake was chocolatey af but wasn't too sweet because of the dark chocolate elements. Easily one of the best cakes I've ever purchased if not THE best. "The Haydn Steak Burger was fantastic: cooked exactly how I wanted, white cheddar with fresh vegetables, and the bun cooked prior, giving the inside a nice crisp.
The cakes were, of course, top tier. I personally got the Raspberry Gateau and Passion; I would have also received the marionberry cheesecake, but they were out of it.
I was originally scouting out if the cakes here were worth the price tag for a birthday, and I have to say: these cakes are worth a VERY special occasion. Yes, the pricetag fits the slice; presentation is half the point of a cake, and Hadyn definitely delivers. But it would be overpriced if the taste didn't match. On this point, I underestimated them: they taste BETTER than I thought they would. I don't care for overly sweet cakes with too much sugar, and these cakes are NOT; the ganache is especially complex, with tart raspberries to blend with the bitter dark chocolate of the cake, which is dense, but moist.
Overall, both fantastic cakes. Worth the price."
