"I’ve eaten here before, and unfortunately, this visit was just as disappointing. I ordered the Memphis ribs, and they were dry, overcooked, and completely lacking in flavor. They didn’t have the smoky, tender, fall-off-the-bone quality you’d expect from good barbecue.
The mashed potatoes were awful. They were thick, hard, and full of potato skins, with an unpleasant texture that tasted like they had been sitting around for a while. The macaroni and cheese had almost no cheese flavor at all—it was bland and forgettable. To make matters worse, the gravy tasted like collard greens had been mixed into it. If that’s intentional, it should be listed on the menu because it completely ruined the mashed potatoes.
As someone who knows Southern cooking, this is nowhere close to authentic Southern food. It lacks the seasoning, soul, and flavor that Southern barbecue is known for. It honestly tastes like it was made by people who don’t understand what real Southern comfort food is supposed to be.
The biggest disappointment is the price. I spent nearly $100, and the quality wasn’t even close to matching what they charge. The food was overpriced, bland, and simply not worth the money.
I won’t be going back, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Southern barbecue."

For starters, they included generous portions of side sauces, doubling and tripling the containers of each one I'd requested... thats kind of unheard of... cuz like... who wants to run out of sauce!? The worst!! IYKYK!
Preparer also took the extra time to wrap the veggies that come with the platter in a separate foil package .. doing so prevented the celery and carrot sticks from arriving wilted and soggy!
Even the presentation/arrangement of the items showed neatness and organization.
In my opinion the steps taken showed the preparer took pride in doing a quality job and is thorough AF . I was impressed before I even took a bite.
