The chimichanga meat was so dry and it was supposed to be green chili but it was not. The fried ice cream was 8.00 and the family all got one. It was a very small scoop of ice cream. There was no tortilla base, no toppings or whip cream. It was nothing like you get when you eat at the restaurant such a waste of money. We go to Macayo's and do enjoy our meals. This was so disappointing.

We ordered the2 Items & 2 Sides,we chose black bean tostada, chicken burito, calabacita and rice. All of our favorite things. That tostada is crisp and black beans deliciously seasoned.The chicKen burrito looks compact, but it weighs in abundance.The chicken is tender and nicely flavored. They make their house rice that it should be a entree itself. The calabacita squash, corn, onion vegetable side. It's sooo goood!!! A very lightly seasoned side dish! Wonderful. They always send their lightly fried tortilla chips and homemade salsa. (((Yummm-OO)))

Fried ice cream for $8 was a ridiculously tiny portion; one golf ball size portion of generic vanilla ice cream rolled in cereal stuffed into a cup; no whipped cream, no topping - they want you to pay extra for those. Macayo's used to be a stand-by for me, but like everyone else they're giving less and less food. They used to include a bag of chips and half pint of salsa with their entrees, now it's just a baggie of chips and a little 4oz cup of salsa.

Beans are terrible no taste
Rice is terrible no flavor
Salsa is flat I like the other sauce but won't give us any
Burro had very little beef in it.
Thea Johnson's would not be happy with the quality of the food
