"I've been a big fan of the food at Red Dragon for years. I'd call out some specific things, but I've eaten there a lot of times and everything I've had has been great. Add to that it's locally owned and their egg rolls are fantastic, which is the most important thing to me when I get Chinese food! Nice and crispy on the outside, not mushy on the inside. Just right. They also seem to know something about how to make lo mein that nobody else know because theirs is incredibly flavorful. Every month they rotate new specials, but the gem of the place are the broth-based dishes in my opinion, they offer 16hr broth dishes which are why I'm always coming back. My usual starts with BBQ Fishball 5 Pieces so good for a few ppl as an appetizer (or 1 if u love them like I do), and the Dragon Hot Soup 麻辣烫 which is one of the broths I mentioned. It has some delicious mushrooms in them that look like oysters and I love noodles they serve but they do not taste nearly as good as in person . Prices for entrees avg $14 and portions are great. That being said, the service can be very inconsistent since they seem to have a lot of students working there that graduate or go on break, but to me the food makes it all worth it. dog friendly too as Ive seen the guy with his 2 pups there a few times"

I mean an insulated reinforced paper bag with cloth strap, top notch design, A special prepackaged chopsticks that includes the fork in it, and all the sauces included.
The second thing I noticed was the quality of every dish I tasted.
Nothing tasted like it was rushed or cheap. Everything tasted perfect.
The Crab Cheese Wontons (4) 芝士蟹饺（4） were perfectly cooked. The filling inside has a rich and creamy texture with the perfect amount of crab flavor and the sauce perfectly compliments it as well.
Stir-Fried Noodles 炒面 featured a huge portion of noodles, protein, and vegetables - which in my case was shrimp. The shrimp was cooked beyond expectations and the sauce brought everything together for a perfect blend of bold and sweet.
Usually I don't feel like leaving a review but this restaurant has exceeded my expectations in every way and is definitely my favorite Asian restaurant in Phoenix.

Although the sauce is what sets it apart from other places, slightly chunky with the perfect of tartness and sourness without being overly sweet. "I ordered the curry combo (each dish can be upgraded to a combo, which includes a mini soup and a drink). The curry was okay, but the soup was the worst I’ve ever had. I’m not sure if the restaurant made a mistake, but something definitely went wrong.
I ordered the mini Tom Yum soup, which was supposed to include noodles and beef. However, the soup looked nothing like the picture on the menu. A normal Tom Yum soup should have a slightly orange color, but the one I received was soy sauce-colored, or rather, it seemed to be just soy sauce. It tasted extremely salty like soy sauce and had a foul sour taste, making it inedible, so I couldn’t eat any of it, which was a complete waste of money.
I hope this review helps others avoid ordering the Tom Yum soup.
