Been going here for years and they never disappoint. Sushi/chirashi/handrolls are always top notch and the fish is always exceptionally fresh. They clearly care a lot about the quality of their food, be it cooked or raw. Can't recommend this place enough. My bank account is going to be sad now that they are on doordash!!

A lot of people seem to be confused by the Chicken Curry, so to clarify: you must get the katsu as an ADD-ON. Otherwise, the curry will not have the katsu in the picture, because the curry itself already has chicken bits. It's not a lot of chicken but that is reflected in the price.
It is very delicious though! Katsu is freshly fried and crunchy. The pickles and rice are also good quality.

Soooo good im crying. A couple things -- wish they would use nonplastic packaging. Also, would love if they had a curry option that used a vegetarian broth/roux. But the service, food quality, and price for portions is great. They do up the price of things on DD (because of DD fees, I presume). A truly authentic Japanese comfort food spot.

Tonkatsu Teishoku comes with so much along with rice and soup. It tender and crispy. The Teriyaki Torokeru Wagyu Hamburger Combo was good but nothing amazing. I didn't really like the korokke although the pumpkin was sweet.

Gyudon was 5/5 but Premium Chirashi was disappointing! For the price I was expecting rich, fatty salmon. But the salmon they gave was very thin and had little "marbling" however the Gyuudon was very delicious and I would definitely order it again!
