The Thalappakatti Biriyani Hotel has been around since 1957. All of the components were cooked by Mr. Nagasamy Naidu himself, which accounts for the food's unwavering nature and delectable taste. Desp…
Both biryanis were good—I really liked them, and the taste felt authentic, similar to what I’ve had in India. However, the Dindigul Special Chicken Roast was very disappointing. It mostly contained bones with hardly any meat, tasted bad, and the quantity was extremely small. It was not worth the price at all, and I would never order it again.

The Mutton Biriyani only had 2 pieces of mutton. The pieces were just heated up from another curry. This is very poor for an expensive 23$ entree.

The chicken was dried and soggy and hard. Seemed like days old chicken. This is the most expensive biriyani in South Bay and the worst I've had.

Veg dishes were horrible. I ordered Paneer Sukka and Chilli Parotta, both were so hard and dry. I could taste dry turmeric powder and garam masala. Super undercooked!! Nothing when compared to the thalapakatti restaurants in Chennai.

Best Biriyani in town. Love the umami flavor in the biriyani and absolutely amazingly flavored rice. The chicken 65 is a little chewy, but that could be chalked up to the food cooling down while it reached my home. I have had the same thing in the restaurant physically and it has tasted amazing.
