"I had the Tom Kha with a side of rice. Never ceases to amaze me me how so few ingredients pack so much flavor. Perfect balance of coconut milk, Lemon grass and galagang with just a tiny kick to it. "I order from Silverlake Ramen all the time, but today I received some really unacceptable food. The broth was burnt. I am not sure exactly how you burn a broth base, but here it is. I had to dump it out and there were hard pieces of burnt remains at the bottom of the container. I also ordered a side of Sausage and thought the pieces would be more substantial like in the photo. These were an additional $3+, they were roughly the size of a quarter maybe 10 cents of meat. I do not really give reviews, however this was so bad I wanted to share my experience at the current state of this establishment. I hope they get their act together as the food used to be so delicious. One last note is I did try to call to see if I could get replacements for these items, but two tries and the phone line was busy each time."

"I have eaten Ramen at almost every restaurant in Ventura County and by far this one is my favorite. The broth of the spicy tonkotsu ramen is rich and can tell that it was made with love and time. I think I have ordered this exact dish at least 15 times now in person and through DoorDash. I appreciate their attention to packaging for DoorDash. The broth comes separate from the soup ingredients so your meal does not get soggy until you are ready to eat it. I do wish there were levels of spicy like in a Thai restaurant, but it is a good level of spicy without it being overpowering to the dish.
