"What was great was they packaged the sauces individually so the incredibly, perfect crispy chicken wouldn't get soggy from the sweet and sour sauce. The egg foo young with vegetables doesn't incorporate the veggies, just puts them on the side. The sauce for it, also packaged separately, was insanely salty. The Deluxe Pan Fried Soft Noodles were tasty, but I thought there would be more meats in it and I was disappointed. I don't think I would order again as the price is higher than other places and I expect more from them. It took longer too."

The only real issue was that it's quite a bit more expensive than our usual place around the corner from this place and so we will not be making a permanent switch. "So far the most authentic Chinese food restaurant in Ventura county. Hunan is a province/region so it's like eating Cajun for example. This is truly a gem for foodies and people that have extended palates. For the less adventurous, try the soup dumplings and beef rolls. "I have eaten Ramen at almost every restaurant in Ventura County and by far this one is my favorite. The broth of the spicy tonkotsu ramen is rich and can tell that it was made with love and time. I think I have ordered this exact dish at least 15 times now in person and through DoorDash. I appreciate their attention to packaging for DoorDash. The broth comes separate from the soup ingredients so your meal does not get soggy until you are ready to eat it. I do wish there were levels of spicy like in a Thai restaurant, but it is a good level of spicy without it being overpowering to the dish.
I also really enjoy many other dishes from this place, the dumplings, the Thai tea, and the mango smoothie are also amongst my favorites. If you have a chance, check it out in person they have super cute chairs that have bulldogs on them. "

"So good! The 61. Pad See-Ew was awesome! My girlfriend loved the 54. Yellow Curry. 2. Veggie Egg Rolls (5) were really good too (although missing their dipping sauce) but still really good on their own with a little soy sauce.
