These were an additional $3+, they were roughly the size of a quarter maybe 10 cents of meat. I do not really give reviews, however this was so bad I wanted to share my experience at the current state of this establishment. One last note is I did try to call to see if I could get replacements for these items, but two tries and the phone line was busy each time."

"What was great was they packaged the sauces individually so the incredibly, perfect crispy chicken wouldn't get soggy from the sweet and sour sauce. The egg foo young with vegetables doesn't incorporate the veggies, just puts them on the side. The sauce for it, also packaged separately, was insanely salty. The Deluxe Pan Fried Soft Noodles were tasty, but I thought there would be more meats in it and I was disappointed. I don't think I would order again as the price is higher than other places and I expect more from them. It took longer too."
"This is the first time we have had food from Mandarin Bistro as our usual place was closed for Presidents Day. It tasted good, but not any better than our usual place which is fantastic. The only real issue was that it's quite a bit more expensive than our usual place around the corner from this place and so we will not be making a permanent switch. But this is a good second option when needed. We got the Tangerine Chicken (Orange) Chicken, Rice Noodles Singapore Style (Thin Rice Noodle), Small Steamed White Rice , and Steamed BBQ Bao. We usually order more but as this cost more than our other place we had to cut back."

The vegetable eggrolls were yummy but soaked through the paper. Very soggy! The pork was good but I would have enjoyed more carrot and maybe some broccoli. The meal was not the same temperature throughout. My favorite was the Almond Cookies. They were soooo fresh and crunchy I couldn't stop eating them. Normally when I order them from various stores they are stale. So overall this was a good meal. I would try them again."

"Everything was delicious. Veggies where perfectly cooked and arrived still crunchy (8 miles). Filet mignon was not over cooked as I always as for well done and get almost dry meat. Mignon was juicy. "So far the most authentic Chinese food restaurant in Ventura county. Hunan is a province/region so it's like eating Cajun for example.
