The fries were disgusting.
They were cold, limp, undercooked or overcooked depending on the fry, and had that nasty texture fries that have sat around for days and then been poorly reheated tend to get. There was no way these had been made fresh more recently than the weekend (it's Wednesday). And there is no way Black Bear would have served these in-restraunt.
Absolutely NOT worth the $7.09 price for a side of fries. Probably 98% of the batch went into the trash, and we still ate too many.
We won't be ordering delivery from Black Bear again."

"These were my first items & experience with Cali Rays. I had the Garlic Pesto Turkey*. The only thing I added that wasn't standard was mayo. I didn't want to get crazy with add ones before trying the baseline. It was absolutely delicious! There's sourdough bread & then there's Sourdough Bread! definitely the second one. I also had the calm New England Clam Chowder* . it was good as well & there was no grit in it that you find in some chowders. I was reluctant but decided to try their Chocolate Chunk Cookie* . some places it's a high price for a small cookie. this one wasn't that. it's a good sized cookie. The burrito was not made in-house. It was a store-bought burrito that was deep-fried (why?). The filling is a mystery -- like a bean paste with no flavor. Did not finish.

"Sonic the Hedgehog would definitely approve of The Chili Dog here! It is way-past cool, and the lack of beans in the chili cuts thr nonsense and goes for pure umami. The ketchup adds some subtle sweetness and aromatic, while the mustard adds just a bit of pleasantly tangy funkiness to the flavor party. The onions add a refreshing pungency and the cheese adds wonderful creaminess and complexity.
My only complaint was the bun was so overloaded with toppings that it was pretty soggy. But that was a small price to pay when everything else was probably the best chili dog I ever had"
"How to ruin two perfectly good hot dogs: Everything came slathered in mayonnaise. If you like lots of mayonnaise on everything, this is the restaurant for you. I don't need mayonnaise on my hot dogs, but there is no box to check to tell them to leave it out. I ordered "island slaw" on my Tame Dog for an extra charge. The "island slaw" turned out to be what looks like chopped cabbage braised in sugar syrup. All over my hot dog. Ick. I tried to scrape it off, but I couldn't get the taste out of the hot dog. And the Tame Dog isn't supposed to have mayonnaise on it, but it did."
