"We were so excited to try a dedicated gf bakery on our trip to DC, but overall it just wasn't all that great. We were happy to see items like the ham and cheese croissant, cinnamon roll, bagel. The bagel is decent. The ham and cheese croissant was tiny (which I actually don't mind, but the pictures online are deceiving - trust me, it's very small if you have a normal/big appetite, but perfect people who want something small so it worked out for me). The croissant was super dense and heavy. Based on descriptions and reviews I was expecting closer to a traditional croissant texture (which surprised me because gf just can't replicate gluten for these kind of pastries). I was correct. Also, the cinnamon roll was heavy, hard, dense. My daughter liked her bagel as soon as she picked off the smoked salmon - she didn't care for the flavor of the salmon. In my opinion, it's just not worth the price and it was sort of what one expects from gf trying to do pastries.
One note: they have a lot of breads and buns, so perhaps those are good and stick to items using that."
