It's good, I would have requested no tomatoes if I had known they were included. Eat with utensils of some sort (chopsticks, fork, spoon) as it's slightly messy to eat with hands. Portion size is good and can be shared easily.

Pistachio Roll ( 1 pcs) - 4 stars; I prefer this to baklava as I find that too sweet. This was not too sweet, slightly dry, and very pistachio forward.

This food was very good, I got the Mild Boneless Chicken Kabob. It is chicken breat which I appreciate. I definitely first thought it wasn't enough food but it was definitely more than enough. The chickpeas are not your typical Indian curry its more of an oily base and thick seasoning taste very good on top of the rice. The Chicken is good, but you are getting the bold flavors from adding the chickpeas I added the white sauce only.

"Very mixed bag; weirdly it seemed like the items that were the hardest to prepare were better than the things that should have been basic. There wasn't nearly enough chicken for the price, and while it was flavorful it was also very dry and a bit burnt tasting. The "vegetables" were two wedges of onion and one of tomato. The pita bread was cardboard-like and inedible. But here's the good news: the salad was excellent, very fresh and redolent of red wine vinegar and herbs. The hummus was wonderful and obviously house made with good olive oil. The rice was warm and flavorful. The fries probably came out of the freezer but they were fried and seasoned well. I might order from here again but next time I'll try the falafel or the lamb instead of the chicken."

"We ordered the lamb shank and the chenjej kabob with salads. The typical salad was great but the Shirazi salad was just chopped tomatoes and cucumber with no seasoning, no olive oil. The lamb shank was very small and mostly fat, again no seasoning. Sadly, the Chenjeh kabob was so overcooked and dry with no seasoning, I don't think even salt. It came in a big container with 8 small scattered pieces of meat- looked a bit sad. We had eaten at Alborz in probably 2013 and enjoyed it, not so much now. We are fans of Persian food. I don't know what went wrong tonight but would never order again, unfortunately."

"We love Bawadi - we order from here once a week. Its consistently good, but this time, the Grilled Chicken (Half was incredibly dry. It also came with french fries, which are not mentioned on the DD menu. You cannot leave notes for the restaurant. I personally would prefer a grilled tomato and grilled onions. I normally opt for the chicken kabobs, but they can sometimes be dry as well, so I was trying something different. Still rating four stars, because the food is always tasty, and the portions are large. The chicken could just be juicier across the board. "
