I have worked with taro and pandan, both fresh and with flavorings and the lack of taro and pandan flavor from the drink, cake, and bun were very disappointing. These flavors are not hard to work with at all. To me this shows a lack of care in the quality of the product, and more so a company riding on the trend. If you're a fan of Chai Tea Latte's this one's excellent, a subtle sweetness with the creaminess of the milk and spices was delicious. The sourdough sandwhich I could tell was going to be a bit smaller than a bagel sandwhich from the DD menu, but was filling, and for DD prices do not think it's overpriced.
