"The order was filled very and everything I ordered was delivered and the food was warm, and very good. I hadnt ordered KFC via door dash before and it was right after 5:00pm when I ordered the food trying to avoid any delays in the food I wanted to order or having the driver delay in after work traffic on a Friday. I wanted to taste the Secret Recipe Fries since I had never had them before knowing how hard they are to keep warm, I was willing to stick them in my air fryer to reheat, and I ordered extra gravy and mashed potatoes to dip them in. I norm prefer white meat over dark meat with chicken, however KFC does a great job with their dark meat original recipe chicken, and I prefer the dark meat on the original recipe chicken over white meat, as the white meat tends to be drier than dark meat (with the exception of original recipe chicken wings). I have always been a fan of KFC original recipe chicken, pot pies, and sides, but compared to other fast food restaurants I find KFC to be very expensive. My order was $77 before DD fees and tax/tip. I will definitely order this again in the near future, and when I reheat the chicken in the microwave I make sure to heat it on 50% power for a longer period of time and I put the chicken in a ziplock FREEZER bag or use 2 regular ziplock bags inside of each other to prevent the bag from breaking open in the microwave and leaving the chicken on the glass and the bag melted) to keep the steam in the bag and keep the chicken warm throughout. "

For the first time, everything in my meal—the chicken, gravy, and biscuit—tasted overcooked or burnt. The chicken lacked the classic KFC flavor, and the gravy tasted completely off. From the delivery to the food, it was surprisingly good! I should’ve taken some pictures. Usually, when food is delivered, it’s not packed with care, but that wasn’t the case with Sangam Chettinad. The attention to detail and the quality of the food were excellent.
I ordered plain biryani rice (Kuska) and a Masala dosa. To my delight, they also included some delicious potato masala, which I hadn’t expected. The sauces were great, too.
My only tip is to enjoy the food right after delivery. If it sits for over an hour, the Masala Dosa will lose its crispness (first-world problems, I know!).
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Indian food!"
"This is our favorite Indian place in north Austin and is always packed! The Tikka Masala - NonVeg is excellent, not too creamy, and with a good amount of spice (medium). My husband found this restaurant for my birthday. I love Indian food and it has been my comfort food since I was introduced to homemade biryanis and kormas in Dallas with friends families. I have not been able to find a restaurant for over a decade that has the same depth of flavor.
I am not in my 20s anymore and CANNOT handle the level of spice even in most mild dishes anymore. This means, I rarely eat my favorite foods anymore. But THEY HAVE MILD THAT IS ACTUALLY MILD.
My husband and I marveled at the flavors of everything we got. I got lamb korma, naan, we had the roasted broccoli and the desserts were fantastic. They even had signature cocktails with Indian flavors. I got the Mumbai Moscow mule which is made with curry leaves. Delish.
Not only is the food soul healing, the decor and dishes show how much care and intention was put into this restaurant. It is decorated in such a lovely fashion. It's a whole experience.
The staff was wonderful and giggled at my enthusiasm for the food and ambiance. We got our leftovers to go from the generous portions. I ate it for theee days. I can't recommend highly enough. I was just there last Friday and came here to order something again for tonight."

"As someone from Old City, Hyderabad who grew up eating real Hyderabadi biryani at places like Cafe Bahar, Pista House, and Shah Ghouse, I’ve got to say this spot comes pretty close to the authentic taste.
I ordered the Hyderabadi Mutton Dum Biryani and asked for it “spicy, double masala” like a true Hyderabadi, and it definitely delivered. The Zafrani Chicken 65 was decent, but nothing you can’t find elsewhere in Austin.
Only downside is the portion size. The Chicken 65 felt way too small for the price, and the raita + mirchi ka salan servings were basically Costco sample cups.
That said, I’d still order the biryani again. Just wish the portions matched the prices, because my appetite didn’t order a sample platter."
