"Honest San Diegan review. I eat taco shop Mex 2-3 days a week. I ordered a bean n cheese burrito and a carne asada taco, cause if you can't make those you shouldn't do Mexican food! Carne taco tortillas were not good, the taco would be great with good corn tortillas. The carne was great with good flavor and the guac and Fresca was fresh. Burrito was good, tortilla was cooked great, beans has a nice original flavor and the cheese was good. Hot sauce has decent bite but needs a little body to give it a little more flavor. For this area it's a 9.5 for SD it's a 7. If the corn tortillas were better the score would be way higher. Oh the Jamaica was good too! I love chicken schwarma usually but this one was a total flop for me. I wanted fresh lemon/garlic/herb goodness and this wasnt it. It was also very expensive for an entree that is mostly rice & very little meat. And ut was packaged poorly. The boxes that they use remind me of the material that egg cartons are made of and my meal was completely soaked thru. Hard to even carry the flimsy container without the food falling out all over the place. Im all for recycling but this packaging doesn't work for me.
