"We were really excited to try this place, but unfortunately it fell short. The Burrote was HUGE 12"!! which I appreciated, but it was surprisingly bland. It only came with rice and my lengua—no beans or other fillings to help balance the flavor. You have to pay for extra condiments. The meat itself wasn’t very seasoned.
The biggest disappointment was the Corn on Cob It had almost no sweetness or flavor at all. We ordered two and both were bland.
The bright spots were the pinto beans, which were delicious, and the red salsa, which had great flavor. The green salsa, however, was pretty bland. 3 Taco Combo was okay.
Overall, the portions were generous, but I was hoping for much more flavor. I wouldn’t order the corn again, and I’d probably try a different menu item if I gave this restaurant another chance."

I wanted to order the three taco combo, but found that unlike individual items nothing could be modified. The store also does not accept requests meaning I had to pay twice as much on individual tacos to accommodate a food allergy.
Even then one of the tacos was covered in sauce I could not eat so that was $7 down the drain.
The Pescado Taco was so salty I literally could not eat it, and the Ground Beef Taco had a weird plastic-like taste to it.
I was looking forward to the Mexican Hot Chocolate as it is one of my favorite drinks in the winter. I don't know what recipe was used here, but what I received was just dark chocolate foam that was lukewarm. For an 8oz cup the price is ridiculous.
Including my in person experience this place is just okay. Trendy? Sure. Fresh? Admittedly yes. Authentic? Absolutely not. For the cost I would rather eat at one of the other dozens of restaurants nearby."
