I live near the everett mall, a little less than a mile from pattys egg nest on evergreen and HANDS DOWN Don's smokes'em in every way possible! I ordered from Don's today which is are least 8 miles from me ND our food was so hot on delivery you would think I just cooked it myself! i have never gotten food so hot and fresh on DD, EVER! they are also very consistent bc it's ALWAYS hot and ALWAYS to order, every single time! this is the one and only restaurant I can say takes as much time and care of their deliveries as they do their in house customers! I am 8.5 miles away from Don's and .5 miles from a pattys egg nest and Don's EVERY SINGLE TIME shows up 2x as hot as pattys egg nest, and always exactly as ordered! "Okay this is absolutely the best take out experience i have had while ordering pho! The broth is super flavorful and very well done not too concentrated on one flavor or another, the noodles have just the right amount of bite but very silky, the veggies are fresh and the lime is half a wedge but its a LARGE wedge so its more than other places give. You also get a packet of sriracha and hoison sauce which for me is a must. The tea is delicious not too sweet and lots of flavor as well, and just the right amount of boba pearls. The portions are very fair for the price and they give the proper amount of each ingredient for a well balanced bowl of pho! But my favorite part is that they include a bowl for you and a broth spoon so you dont have to worry about not having the proper utensils! The broth was hot the tea was cold ice wasnt melted, they go above and beyond to provide a delicious meal. Instantly made me feel better while unwell. The ONLY complaint I could have is that the brisket was more fatty than I prefer. I forgot to get pictures before chowing down! A hot and sour broth with button mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves and cilantro. The Tom Yum soup here has a very good broth, but it's filled with vermicelli noodles, scallions, spinach and peanuts. Although it was very tasty, it was definitely not a classic Tom Yum, if that's what you're expecting.
We also had N5. Pad Kee Mao (Thai Spiced Noodle) and N2. Pad Thai. These were both solid choices, with the shrimp on the phad thai being plentiful and good quality. That said, we're used to 3 stars being medium hot, but here it's very spicey!! "
