"For the amount that the galbi cost, I was expecting much more portion wise. I accidentally bought 2x instead of one serving, and for $66, I got so little meat that I thought a joke was being played on me. The Squid & Pork bulgogi was a good portion, and justified its higher price, and the sides were all fresh and well made. the corn cheese was average, tasted like canned corn that wasn't drained (very watery, alot of liquid pooled in the container). Rice came with every dish on it's own, we didnt need to order a side of rice. all in all we spent 140 bucks pre-tax on a meal and felt like we got maybe 60 bucks worth of food. "

"Shortly after i placed the order i received a phone call from the restaurant. The very sweet woman mentioned they were so sorry but running out of bone-in Chicken wings and said she could give me boneless if that was okay and seemed to be sincerely apologetic for the inconvenience. Feeding a family of 6, of course the boneless wings was fine by us. When the order came there was a box that said on the house which has whatever they had left of the bone-in chicken wings which i thought was so generous of them, plus the order change to boneless wings. The food was very delicious and very large cuts of meat. We had enough for lunch the next day too. I highly recommend for the quality of food, portions, taste, and the excellent guest service! The Butter Garlic Chicken was my personal favorite as well as the Soft Tofu Soup (the photos do not do it justice). Happy family here and will be back soon. So good, that we will be visiting in person next! "

"I consider myself a bit of a tofu bowl connoisseur, as a years-long vegan it's often been the only vegan option available when ordering from restaurants like Seaol Bowl, and this was the worst one that I've had yet.
The tofu was heavily breaded and fried to a crisp, but the breading was bland chalky. The rice to toppings ratio was way skewed towards too much rice. The sweet mashed potatoes topping was literally just a tablespoon of it. The ordering process highly recommended the "Yum Yum" sauce, but it was no where to be found, or perhaps it was soaked entirely up by the heavily breaded tofu.
We only tried Seoul Bowl instead of one of our tried and true favorite restaurants because it advertised a bogo deal, and even then it was still a terrible value. $23 for a bowl of rice, tofu, a tablespoon of potatoes, a scoop of corn and a little bit of "caramelized" onions - That's completely unreasonable! If they charged $10-$12, it might be worth it and might garner repeat customers, but at that price and poor quality, we will not be ordering again."

"I spent the extra $3 for a large chicken and Chicken & Beef. Good portions for sure. They didn't lack on the teryaki sauce, it was the perfect amount of sauce to get tasty rice but not over do it. The chicken doesnt have chewy chunks of conective tissue, so it appears that they use care when cutting the chicken up. The beef is tender and has a great and distinct flavor. My go to teryaki without a doubt. "
