"Today we tried the Tex-Mex Shrimp Bowl from Applebees's Grill and Bar. The salad was great! The lettuce and other vegetables were good. It had lots of shrimp. The shrimp was coated with a chipotle powder with other spices. However, the chipotle shrimp was almost too spicy. Consider this when you order this dish. There is a lot of white rice at the bottom of the salad. I would have liked more black beans and corn. The two sauces were guacamole and chimichuri. I have never had the chimichuri sauce in Tex Mex food. It did not add anything to the meal."
