"I order from Deno’s probably 3 times a week, and the food is always fresh, hot, and plentiful.
The only mistake I’ve ever had was actually getting EXTRA food. 😂 One time, I received a 5-piece hot wing that I didn’t order. I called to let them know because I work in food service and understand that if I received something extra, there’s a chance someone else could be missing something. Happy to say the other customer’s order had been corrected, and my “extra” wings were absolutely delicious. Needless to say, I’ve ordered their wings several times since then.
Another major plus for me is that they’re open late. I get off work at 11 PM, shower, and by 11:30 I’m HUNGRY. Deno’s comes through right on time.
One of my favorites is their Louisiana fried fish and fries. The fish is so crispy and seasoned well. I’ve also had the crab legs twice. That’s my little treat to myself when I work a little overtime and my son’s daycare bill is paid in full. 😂 The crab legs are cooked perfectly, come right out of the shell, and are a good size. A lot of places serve those small, skinny legs, but Deno’s gives you some good-sized crab legs.
You can trust that Deno’s will serve you right every time.
Another MUST-TRY is the fried gizzards. MY LORD! 😂 I don’t know what they’re doing back there, but if they ever change that recipe, I’m making a personal appearance to protest. These things are GOOD!

So, it breaks down to one great fajita and some plain meat on the side. Ridiculously small portions in a small container with 4 tiny separate areas.
Now, you would think a restaurant called Chili's would have fantastic chili. Um no. The Bowl of the Original Chili was the ABSOLUTE WORST chili I have EVER tasted. It was disgusting. One bite and I tossed it in the trash. It was a very small bowl, too....for over $7.00.
I can't imagine if the owner or manager were to order and receive EXACTLY what I received how they would react. And, if they had to serve the same to friends and family in their homes, as I had to.....I wonder how many apologies they would have had to make.
